Hello, world.
It has been 4 years.
In case you haven’t heard, we are in the midst of a worldwide pandemic – the COVID-19. Otherwise known as the shitstorm that caused disarray on earth. There has been too many deaths, and too little known about the cure (if any) for the disease.
Indonesia’s government is failing to protect their citizens, using meek approaches such as “stay at home suggestions”. This is week 3 of me working from home. 3 weeks since I last set foot outside my home.
I thankfully have the luxury of choosing to stay at home without having to lose work and/or income. Others do not have the same luxury, and so I am choosing to take this WFH situation with gratitude and make the best use of all this newfound spare time.
The current pandemic has provided a lot of new perspectives for me. On the importance of family, on how much I crave a home that is mine, on the fact that a home is what I make of it, on what is actually most important for me. Again, this is a luxury that I don’t want to take for granted.
I don’t know what the content will be from now on, it sure won’t be the same as 4 years ago. But I just need to start writing again.
