At an era where everything is built to be mobile and instant – we can multitask anything, anytime, anywhere – there comes a point when we stop being able to listen to our body. Instead, we rely on apps, on charts and graphs, to tell us whether or not we have had a healthy meal. We input all kinds of data, take pictures of our food, and “log in” to places we’ve been during the day. We no longer rely on memories of the gorgeous day we had, because we didn’t savor it enough to form such memory.
We ignore our senses.
It tells us to rest, and we don’t listen.
It asks us to sleep, and we don’t listen.
It warns us to take a moment, and we don’t listen.
…
and so there comes a point when the body screams for attention any way it can.
Have you listened to what your body is telling you today?
Or did you rely on an app reminder instead?
