green home

the past several years I am constantly dreaming of a green and environment friendly home. just wondering if the technology required will make it really expensive (after all, this is Indonesia, where all things beneficial will cost so much you’d rather be a villain to earth)… so a parallel project will be to gather any kind of information about building a green home. any suggestions?
